In addition to the care of 26 animals affected by the fires, the sanctuary also provides services to animals that have been tortured, injured or left to die by their owner.

Laçinbala pointed out that the animals rescued from the forest fires in Manavgat and Marmaris last year were taken to the Haytap Retired Animals Sanctuary in Bursa at first step and said:

"With the completion of the facility in Bursa, the idea of establishing a facility in a different province emerged. We also established a new sanctuary in Osmaniye, which has the most suitable climate for animals and brought some of the animals here. In particular, we take animals, which are tortured and left to die when they are injured and wounded while carrying loads, such as horses and donkeys to our sanctuary. "

Stating that the treatment and care of the animals is carried out regularly and that there are two officers at the sanctuary for feeding all the time, Lacinbala said, "We have 28 farm animals in the facility. One of them is a donkey who was left to die because he broke his leg in Batman. One of them is the ram from Tokat. All the other animals were rescued from the fire disaster occurred last year. Their first interventions were carried out in our field hospital tents. Then, they were transferred to Bursa and from Bursa to here, "he said.
